The M4A1.

Hello again all!
In this post I will be talking about the main counter terrorist weapon--the M4A1.

In my previous post, we talked about configuration, including cross hair size and color. Now you will learn where to place those cross hairs.
The M4A1 has 10, maybe 12 different recoil patterns. The most common is where you hold down the mouse, and the bullets go up, then to the right, then to the left. And another is they go up, and to the right, or they will go up, into the left, then to the right. No matter how far away, or how close from your opponent you are, you always want to control your recoil. At close range you want to spray, but control your recoil by pulling down with your mouse then shake it a little left and right. At medium range, you can spray, but, unless you have HeatoN's recoil control,(HeatoN is a professional counter strike player) then your probably not going to hit your opponent--and even if you DID have his control, you still have less of a chance of hitting him. What you should do at medium range is do 2 to 3 bullet bursts pulling down when you fire and strafe.

One thing I hear a lot of people say is that you should aim for his chest, and burst 2 bullets and the second bullet will hit his head, which is mostly true, but lemme tell you what will get you more kills--aim for the head. I don't care what anyone tells you, aim for the head. It will take some practice, but, once you perfect it, you will become virtually unstoppable. Because if your opponent is aiming for your chest while your crosshairs are on his head, who do you think is going to win? That's right, YOU.
At long range do 1 bullet taps. If you get anything out of this post remember this: aim for the head, spray at close, burst at medium, and tap at long.

Some people use a silencer on there M4, and some people don't. Wondering whether or not to use a silencer? Well, it Depends*. The M4s bullets do travel a bit faster without a silencer, but if your playing classic mode then you really want to use a silencer. Why should you use a silencer? Because, it keeps the enemy from hearing where you are, and that can be a crucially deciding factor in whether or not you -- or your teammates -- survive the round. If all your teammates are using silencers and you aren't, and you accidentally let a few bullets go, then the enemy knows where you are and they flash your team and spray you down, and BOOM your all dead(assuming there close enough to hear you). But if your just playing a regular ol' Deathmatch, then it doesn't matter whether or not you use a silencer(oh, and play lots of Deathmatch, it will help your body memorize head level).
Well, that's all for the M4A1. Have fun and take care!

*I Will leave it up to you to figure out what I mean.....
